The Courthouse restaurant opened in 1996 and is located inside the historic orginal Warragul courthouse. It is a restaurant and garden bar serving fresh local food with country Victoria's grandest wine lists and friendly staff combined to make your occasion memorable.
Built in 1888 The Courthouse is the oldest surviving Colonial Government public building in this part of Victoria.. It was designed by Mr J R Brown and erected by Mr J Markey. The feature of this historic building included, the polychromatic brickwork, projecting front with two cast iron columns and the combination of semi-circular upper and stilted lower windows, which makes The Courthouse a fine example of a late nineteen century courthouse building.
